    Dezvoltarea genului operistic la confluența secolelor XX-XXI în Republica Moldova reprezintă un amalgam de oportunități și constrângeri, care reflectă schimbările semnificative ce s-au produs în contextul istoric și cultural, influențate de evoluția societății și a tehnologiei. În cadrul acestor două perioade distincte, există anumite tendințe și evoluții care merită să fie analizate mai în detaliu.
