    ASPECTE STRUCTURAL-DRAMATURGICE ȘI PARTICULARITĂȚI INTERPRETATIVE ÎN CONCERTUL PENTRU CORN ȘI ORCHESTRĂ, OP. 91 DE REINHOLD GLIERE

    În articol se realizează o analiză a Concertului pentru corn și orchestră op. 91 de Reinhold Gliere (1875-1956), compus în 1951 la sugestia cornistului Valeri Poleh. Structurat în trei părți tradiționale, concertul prezintă o orchestrație romantică și o formă clasică de sonată în prima parte, un lied cantabil în partea a doua și un final ce combină elemente de rondo cu tema cu variațiuni. Autorul evidențiază calitățile expresive ale cornului și prezintă interpreților provocări tehnice precum pasajele cu dublă staccato, digitația adăugătoare și tehnica de bouché. Studiul oferă indicații practice privind respirația, digitația și articulația, făcând referire la interpretări celebre precum cea a lui Radek Baborak, constituind astfel un ghid valoros pentru corniști. Concertul reprezintă, în fond, o lucrare reprezentativă din perioada sovietică a compozitorului, îmbinând tradițiile clasico-romantice cu elemente din folclorul rus. The article examines Reinhold Glière's (1875-1956) Horn Concerto Op. 91, composed in 1951 at the suggestion of the horn player Valery Polekh. Structured in three traditional movements, the concerto features a romantic orchestration and a classical sonata form in the first movement, a cantabile lied in the second movement, and a finale combining rondo elements with theme with variations. The author highlights the expressive qualities of the horn and presents technical challenges to performers such as double-tonguing passages, auxiliary fingerings, and the bouché technique. The study provides practical guidance on breathing, fingering, and articulation, referring to celebrated interpretations such as that of RadekBaborak, thus serving as a valuable guide for horn players. The concerto represents a significant work from the composer's Soviet period, blending classical-romantic traditions with elements of Russian folklore.

    CONCERTUL PENTRU CORN ȘI ORCHESTRĂ DE PAUL HINDEMITH: UNELE PARTICULARITĂȚI COMPOZIȚIONALE ȘI INTERPRETATIVE

    Concertul pentru corn și orchestră de Paul Hindemith este analizat din perspectiva compozițională și interpretativă, subliniindu-se inovațiile stilistice ale compozitorului. Lucrarea, dedicată cornistului Dennis Brain, combină trăsăturile baroce cu tehnicile moderne, inclusiv atonalismul și dodecafonismul. Autorul articolului descrie structura concertului și analizează elementele de ritm, metru și orchestrare. Prima mișcare introduce tema printr-o construcție bipartită cu repriză, a doua mișcare este un scherzo alert, iar finalul, cel mai complex, include o secțiune recitativă, pe textul unui poem scris de Hindemith. Sunt evidențiate dificultățile tehnice pentru cornist, inclusiv utilizarea digitației opționale și necesitatea exactității ritmice. Autorul articolului pune în valoare libertatea interpretativă a solistului, precum și modul în care Hindemith exploatează posibilitățile timbrale ale instrumentului, reușind să îmbine cu iscusință complexitatea tehnică cu expresivitatea. The author emphasizes the interpretative freedom of the soloist, as well as the way Hindemith explores the timbre possibilities of the instrument, skillfully combining technical complexity with expressiveness.
