Abstract
Cursul Teorii și practici provocative în artele spectaculare și performative contemporane răspunde imperativului timpului nostru în care provocativitatea a devenit un fenomen global în viața socio-culturală mondială. Ea constituie trăsătura dominantă a artei contemporane. Datorită acesteia se produce schimbarea paradigmei estetice și restructurarea radicală în procesul teatral universal. Cursul pune accent pe relația provocativității cu avangarda, modernismul și postmodernismul. Se face comparația performance-ului (pentru prima dată adus în curriculum-ul universitar autohton) cu teatrul și se oferă modele de îmbinare ale elementelor spectacolului cu cele ale performance-ului. Cursul propune un tur de orizont asupra formelor provocative, oprindu-se asupra celor mai relevante, cum ar fi: provocarea prin agresiune; provocarea prin autoagresiune; provocarea prin lipsa actului artistic; provocarea prin imitarea acțiunii nule; provocarea prin lipsa sensului. Sunt puse pe tapet practicile formocreative ale lui Richard Schechner, clasicul teatrului provocativ universal. Urmează experiențele de anvergură ale regizorilor care dau tonul în lume. Printre ei se numără: Krystian Lupa, Rodrigo García, Pippo Delbono, Jozef Nadj, Krzysztof Warlikowski, Thomas Ostermeier, Luk Perceval, Andriy Zholdak, Kama Gingas, Lev Erenburg, Kirill Serebrennikov, Iuri Butusov, Konstantin Bogomolov, Alvis Hermanis, Oskaras Koršunovas, Alexander Hausvater, Silviu Purcărete, Radu Afrim.
The provocative theories and practices of contemporary performing and visual arts course of lectures meets the imperative of our time, where provocativitaty had became a global phenomenon of the socio-cultural life. It is the dominant feature of the contemporary art, leading to the change of the aesthetic paradigm and a radical restructuring of the universal theater process. This course emphasizes the relationship between the provocativity and the avant-garde, modernism and postmodernism. A comparison is made between performance art (first brought to the local university curriculum) and the theater, offering patterns of combining elements of the show with those of the performance. The course comprises a review of the most relevant provocative forms, such as the challenge by aggression; the challenge by self-agression; the challenge by lack of the artistic act; the challenge by mimicking the lack of action; the challenge by the lack of meaning. Also, the form-creative practices by Richard Schechner are presented, a classic of the universal provocative theater, followed by the most important creations signed by the most prominent directors, setting the style in the world. Among them there are:Krystian Lupa, Rodrigo García, Pippo Delbono, Jozef Nadj, Krzysztof Warlikowski, Thomas Ostermeier, Luk Perceval, Andriy Zholdak, Kama Gingas, Lev Erenburg, Kirill Serebrennikov, Iuri Butusov, Konstantin Bogomolov, Alvis Hermanis, Oskaras Koršunovas, Alexander Hausvater, Silviu Purcărete, Radu Afrim.
