Abstract
Comunicarea dată reflectă impactul crizelor globale, precum războaie şi evenimente politice, asupra direcţiilor de modă şi schimbările care au avut loc în industria modei în urma coronavirusului.
În articol sunt relevate evenimentele istorice, politice şi economice care au influenţat dezvoltarea modei. Se argumentează democratizarea modei în urma Revoluţiei Franceze, formarea stilului anilor ’40 ca urmare a Războiului al Doilea Mondial, care a lăsat moda în urmă. Sunt evidenţiate şi evenimentele sociale din secolele XX‑XXI, precum stilul hippie, apărut în America ca un protest împotriva restricţiilor impuse de stat, împotriva războaielor şi a culturii consumului, proclamând pacea şi libertatea. La rândul său, este menţionată şi pandemia virusului COVID‑19, care a oprit irevocabil producţia de îmbrăcăminte şi, în cele din urmă, a afectat puternic industria modei.
În acest sens, autorul explică influenţa semnificativă a crizelor globale sau locale asupra dezvoltării industriei de modă, precum şi factorii care au stimulat intensificarea căutărilor designerilor pentru noi soluţii creative şi formarea tendinţelor în modă.
The paper reflects the impact of global crises, like wars and political events, on fashion trends and how the fashion industry has changed following the coronavirus.
The article reveals the historical, political and economic events that influenced the development of fashion. It is argued the democratization of fashion following the French Revolution, the formation of the style of the 40s, caused by the Second World War that left fashion behind. The social events of the 20th‑21st centuries are also highlighted, such as the hippie style that appeared in America as a protest against the state restrictions, against wars and consuming culture, proclaiming peace and freedom. In its turn, the pandemic of the COVID‑19 virus is also mentioned, which irrevocably stopped the production of clothing and, in the end, strongly affected the fashion industry.
In this sense, the author explains the significant influence of global or local crises on the development of the fashion industry, as well as the factors that stimulated the intensification of designers’ searches for new creative solutions and the formation of fashion trends.
