Abstract
Eugenio Barba este fondatorul şi regizorul teatrului norvegian Odin, pedagog, teoretician al teatrului contemporan. Face parte din cohorta regizorilor care şi-au adus contribuţia la crearea lexicului modern al expresivităţii actoriceşti. Dezvăluind aspectele transculturale şi bazându-se pe cercetările contemporane, Barba îşi propune să dezvăluie componentele universale actoriceşti, originile cărora le găseşte în unitatea aspectului spiritual şi psihofiziologic al acestora. El tinde spre expresivitatea actorului născută din întregul său potenţial uman. Formarea limbajului expresivităţii actoriceşti în creaţia lui Barba este indispensabilă de una din tendinţele strălucitoare ale dezvoltării artei teatrale europene din a doua jumătate a secolului XX — mişcarea spre universalitatea teatrală.
Eugenio Barba is the founder and director of the Norwegian theater Odin, pedagogue, theorist of contemporary theater. She is part of the cohort of directors who have contributed to the creation of the modern lexicon of acting expressiveness. Revealing the cross-cultural aspects and based on contemporary research, Barba aims to reveal the universal acting components, the origins of which he finds in the unity of their spiritual and psychophysiological aspect. He tends to the expressiveness of the actor born of his full human potential. The formation of the language of acting expressiveness in Barba’s creation is indispensable for one of the brilliant tendencies of the development of European theatrical art in the second half of the twentieth century — the movement to theatrical universality.
