Abstract
În articol este abordată o temă inedită, cercetarea fiind efectuată în baza unor interviuri și înregistrări realizate de autor pe parcursul ultimilor ani în Edineț, un mic orășel din nordul Republicii Moldova, care astăzi încă mai păstrează amintirea străluciților lăutari de altădată. Autorul cercetează cele mai importante elemente ale stilului interpretativ lăutăresc din Edineț: componența formațiilor și rolul unor instrumente în sonoritatea acestora, specificul aranjamentelor și al armonizării melodiilor; particularitățile de interpretare și virtuozitatea; aspecte ale unor corelații și influențe etnice; repertoriul, subliniind rolul pe care l-a avut acest stil de intepretare în spațiul pruto-nistrean.
The study treats an inedited topic based on some interviews and recordings from the last years from Edinets, a small town that still keeps the memory of a famous lautar art that once shined there. The author investigates the most important elements of the lautar performing style from Edinets: the structure of bands, the role of some instruments in their sonority, the peculiarities of the arrangements and the harmony, specific of performing and virtuosity; aspects of some ethnic correlations and influences; the repertory. The article emphasizes the relevance of this performing style in the Prut-Dniester area.
