dc.description.abstractMotivele vegetale din țesăturile tradiționale – covoare, ștergare, fețe de masă și alte textile de uz cotidian sau ceremonial – reprezintă un element fundamental al patrimoniului cultural și studierea acestora este esențială pentru înțelegerea identității artistice și simbolice a comunităților care le-au creat și transmis de-a lungul generațiilor. În primul rând, motivele vegetale reflectă legătura profundă dintre om și natură. Ele nu sunt doar simple ornamente, ci simboluri ale fertilității, vitalității, belșugului și regenerării. Aceste reprezentări codifică mesaje culturale, fiind asociate cu ciclurile vieții, obiceiuri și credințe străvechi. Investigarea motivelor vegetale din țesăturile tradiționale din Republica Moldova nu este doar un exercițiu academic, ci o modalitate de a păstra vie memoria colectivă și de a înțelege mai profund simbolistica artei populare. Cercetările contribuie la consolidarea identității culturale și la transmiterea valorilor tradiționale către generațiile viitoare. Cuvinte-cheie: motiv vegetal, tradiție, fitomorf, stilizare, simbol Plant motifs in traditional textiles - rugs, towels, tablecloths and other textiles for everyday or ceremonial use - are a fundamental element of the cultural heritage and their study is essential for understanding the artistic and symbolic identity of the communities that have created and passed them down over generations. First of all, vegetal motifs reflect the deep connection between man and nature. They are not mere ornaments but symbols of fertility, vitality, abundance, and regeneration. They encode cultural messages and are associated with life cycles, ancient customs and beliefs. Investigating plant motifs in traditional fabrics from the Republic of Moldova is not just an academic exercise, but a way to keep alive the collective memory and to understand more deeply the symbolism of folk art.
