In the 21st century, monodrama opens new perspectives for theater, being one of the most complex art forms. But until now there are not enough multidimensional researches of the specifics and particularities of this dramatic form. The article contains an analysis of the theoretical and evolutionary aspects of the monodrama. We find several definitions of monodrama in various sources, one of them — is a theatrical performance involving an actor. It is similar to a dramatic monologue by the fact that the audience witnesses the thoughts and actions of a single character. This type of performance can be found in the musical theater, opera, and stage plays. Monodrama is present in all the stages of the historical development of theatrical art. It is important to note that monodrama, as a form of dramaturgy, is the synthesis of two essentially different art types, such as the theater and literature. According to Evreinov, the monodrama is a „soul projection” of the central character into the outside world.Item PIRANDELLISMUL ȘI EDUARDISMUL: DOUĂ POETICI DIFERITE?(2015) Târțău, SvetlanaThe author brings out observations about Pirandello’s influence on Eduardo De Filippo’s works, using such terms as pirandellism and eduardism, both theatrical poetics that appeared in the Italian theater of the twentieth century. In order to see the similarities and differences between them, the author analyzed the comedies by Eduardo De Filippo „Questi fantasmi” and „La grande magia”. In the writings of Giorgio Pullini we find out that Eduardo was influenced by Pirandello, but from pirandellian dialectics, in the works of Eduardo we find invented dialogues. However, the subject matter is built in a different way, it is further developed, it is closer to the present than to the one of contradictions between the human essence and people’s knowledge of realit based on the impossibility to find a common language between two realities that have lost logical links, but in the lack of possibilities to find common trust between two realities that have lost their moral relations. In Europe, the interest towards the oriental theatre, as the source of the forgotten ideals of ancient civilizations, had been beginning to rise in the first half of the 20th century. Gordon Craig was one of the first theatrical thinkers who had taken a course to the traditions of the East. The experience of the Eastern theatre had become for him a generator of thoughts related to the actor’s liberation from the random nature of emotional outbursts during the acting. Discoveries influenced by the Eastern theatrical practice had been determining the direction of Gordon Craig’s subsequent theatrical thinking. In his turn, Vsevolod Meyerhold synthesized the Kabuki’s acting techniques and European drama.
