Abstract
Articolul este consacrat studiului genului musical cercetat în contextul semiologiei, un domeniu al științei contemporane care tratează obiectele culturale ca sisteme de semne și fenomene de comunicare. Din punct de vedere al semiologiei, genul, fiind un important purtător al semanticii opusului muzical, relevă cele mai importante funcții semiotice ale acestuia.
The article is devoted to the study of the musical genre in the semiology context, a domain of the contemporary science, which treats cultural objects as sign systems and communication phenomena. From the point of view of semiology, the genre, being an important carrier of the semantics of the musical piece reveals its most important semiotic functions.
